Services Set for Rogers Teen Killed in Crash

St. Michael's Peterson Funeral Chapel has set arrangements with the Playle family as more information is revealed about the four girls lost in Monday's accident

Services for Jordan Nicole Playle, 19, of Rogers, one of the four teens killed in the tragic car accident near Alexandria on Interstate 94 Monday, have been set.

The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael announced the visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at Northridge Fellowship, 12522 Main Street, in Rogers. The funeral is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the church.

Playle was one of four North Dakota State University students killed when the driver of their car lost control on a snow I-94 near Garfield. The car skidded through a median and into the eastbound lane, where the girls were struck head-on by an eastbound SUV.

Two–Playle and Megan Sample, 18–were Rogers High School graduates. According to an article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune today, Roger High would have grief counselors available to students who knew the 2011 grads today.

Three of the girls lived in the same room in Sevrinson Hall on the campus of North Daktoa State. The door has become a makeshift tribute to the students.

Robert Playle told the Tribune his daughter was "the best kid in the world." He said the teen had come home and actually spent the weekend with family, instead of spending time this friends over the weekend.
