Sheriff's Office Statement On Shooting In Wright County

Wright County Sheriff Sean Deringer as well as Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke will address the media at that time.

At 10:54 the Wright County Sheriff's Office communication's center received a call from the 700 block of Crossroads Campus Drive in the City of Buffalo for a report of shots fired. Law Enforcement units from the Buffalo Police Department and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene.

A suspect has been apprehended. The location was evacuated, and several people were transported to area hospitals for injuries. The public is being asked to stay out of the area as multiple Law Enforcement agencies and Emergency vehicles are still in the area. Schools within the area were placed on temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure.
