St. Michael-Albertville's Waldeland Competes At State Golf
Waldeland finished up the first day in 56th place overall at the Class AAA meet

St. Michael-Albertville junior Eric Waldeland finished up the first day of the Class AAA state boys golf tournament tied for 56th place overall.
Waldeland is tied with eight other golfers in 56th place after 18 holes at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids. His first-round score of 81 is 11 shots off the pace. Forest Lake’s Max Kelly currently sits alone in fist with a round of 70.
In the team competition, Eden Prairie and Rogers each tied for first with 299 after the first day, while two-time defending champion Wayzata finished the day third at 301.
