St. Michael Man Opens Chocolate Shop on Main Street Maple Grove

Within the span of a week, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory closed its doors on Main Street in Maple Grove.

In its place, Main Street Chocolates moved in to continue the chocolate tradition in downtown Maple Grove.

While the new chocolate shop has a different name, new owner and St. Michael resident Andrew Briggs says they'll continue to provide very similar offerings of "high quality products." Since Main Street Chocolates is independently owned and operated, he said the shop will be able to offer a few extra new products as well.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory officially closed its doors on Friday, March 30. According to a representative with the company, the franchisee owner did not renew the franchise option.

Main Street Chocolates opened April 2, located at 7888 Main Street in Maple Grove. It is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
