St. Michael's 15AAA Baseball Victories
St. Michael hosted a AAA boys tournament the weekend of Albertville Friendly City Days.and the 15 year olds won.

St. Michael-Albertville baseball hosted a AAA tournament at the the weekend of Friendly City Days for 13, 14 and 15 year olds. The 15 year olds won their tourney going 5-0 overall.
In their first game against Osseo-Maple Grove, they went 12-2. The second pool game was against West Fargo and they went 2-1, winning in the bottom of the 7th.
For their bracket play they first beat Coon Rapids 1-0 in the bottom of the 7th, Anoka-Ramsey 13-5 and then Elk River 14-13 in extra innings.

The heat and brutal temps took a lot out of the boys last Sunday as they played three games, the final game of the day really got competitive.
Jaylen Hakes pitched the maximum allowed 7 innings for the Knights.
The Knights had a lead most of the way but gave up some runs late in the game which forced the game into extra innings. With two outs in the top of the 8th Mitchell Erickson singled. Jaylen Hakes followed with a single to drive Erickson in for what turned out to be the winning run. Andrew Carbert came in the bottom of the 8th for the Knights on the mound and was able to hold Elk River off from the Championship.
Leading the way offensively for the Knights – Tyler Berg 4 for 6 with a double and a triple, Mitchell Erickson 4 for 5 with a triple, and Jaylen Hakes 3 for 4 with a double.
