However, neighboring Stearns County has seen a significant spike to its numbers. On Tuesday, Stearns County had 86 confirmed COVID-19 cases. That number shot up to 166 Wednesday (an increase of 80) to 267 at today’s MDH update (an increase of 101).
Some of the increases being seen around the state have been attributed to more testing being done, but the jump in the Stearns County numbers are troubling in the rapid rate in which they are growing.
