Township Officers Meeting Thursday night

The quarterly Wright County Township Officers Meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Buffalo Township Hall (3959 Dague Ave. NE).

The meetings are scheduled four times a year for township officials to meet to discuss issues that are of mutual importance to townships – both in the short-term and long-term – and to share information. The meetings are open forums for discussion and the county commissioners and county department heads are invited to the meetings to speak on county issues and have a dialogue dealing with questions and concerns of the townships.

There are 18 townships in Wright County – Albion, Buffalo, Chatham, Clearwater, Cokato, Corinna, Franklin, French Lake, Maple Lake, Marysville, Middleville, Monticello, Rockford, Silver Creek, Southside, Stockholm, Victor and Woodland.

The other scheduled township officers meetings for 2020 are Thursday, April 2 at the Middleville Township Hall, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at Silver Creek Township Hall and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 at Cokato Township Hall.
