University of Minnesota Extension will be hosting a Fruit and Vegetable Grower Workshop focused on pests, diseases, and pollinators. This workshop will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the Wright County Highway Building in Buffalo.

The workshop will be presented by Annie Klodd, Extension Educator/Fruit Production, who will discuss the use of exclusion netting to deal with Spotted Wing Drosophila. Natalie Hoidal, Extension Educator/Vegetable Production, will walk us through disease prevention.

University of Minnesota Apiculture Technician Gary Reuter will present on mutually beneficial habitats for pollinators and your vegetable or fruit fields. The cost of the workshop is $10.
