What a 4th of July Weekend for the Albertville Royal Court!!

The Albertville royalty spent our weekend in Delano. On the 3rd, Katie, Brittany and I went to the Delano coronation. We had a fun 4th of July themed meal and scored some star sunglasses before the crowning. Before we found our seats, we ran into one of our candidate judges! We were able to catch up with her and most of all thank her for the amazing opportunity she had given us. The coronation was exciting. It is always a blast to see the girls faces as a crown is placed on their heads. On the 4th, we were in the Delano parade. Our junior commodores and junior misses wore absolutely adorable costumes! They were the stars of the show and everyone loved them. Even the queen of the lakes came to take a picture with them. We were very lucky with the weather again. It was very nice out! Our float also looked very festive with red, white, and blue balloons and flags tied to it. There was so many people at the parade, many friendly faces from Albertville! When the parade was over and we were taking down the balloons, the juniors snuck off with a few for an intense game of keep away. This was most likely their favorite part of the day, so many giggles! The juniors also loved when people would yell our their names during the parade. Their faces were PRICELESS! One of our junior commodores even asked me if that meant he was famous. What a wonderful holiday and I am so grateful I was able to spend that time with my royal court, their families and the people of Delano.
