On the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts on KSTP Channel 5 tonight (July 17), the Wright County Area Crisis Nursery will be highlighted.

The Wright County Area Crisis Nursery is a joint venture with Wright County Health & Human Services and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. The crisis nursery provides short-term care for children up to 12 years old by licensed providers, crisis counseling for families and information and referrals to additional community resources.
The crisis nursery is also looking for licensed foster and daycare providers, volunteers to answer the crisis calls on evening and weekends (geared toward the volunteer’s schedule), volunteers to assist with donation drives, updating social media and serving on planning committees. Those who wish to donate items, the nursery is in need of diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, gently used clothing, bus passes and gas cards.
