Wright County Board Completes 2021 Committee, Advisory Board Assignments

At the first meeting of 2021, the Wright County Board was tasked to make some of the most important decisions it makes at any point.

At the first meeting of 2021, the Wright County Board was tasked to make some of the most important decisions it makes at any point during the year. At its annual reorganizational meeting, the board named a new chairperson (Commissioner Mark Daleiden) and swore in two new commissioners (Mary Wetter and Mike Kaczmarek).

Following those procedural measures, the first order of business was to make the committee and advisory board assignments for the commissioners, who represent the county board on the more than 50 committees and advisory boards the commissioner sit on. Unlike the previous few years where this was a quick process because the county board was comprised of the same five members, with two new commissioners coming to the board (and two leaving), many of the committee and advisory board assignments were vacant and required filling.

The following are the results of the division of assignments among the five commissioners. Alternate members are listed in parentheses:
