Due to a supply line shortage for cardstock, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has experienced delays in sending out renewal statements for boats and all-terrain vehicles. Some people received their renewal notices in December and another batch went out last week. There have been delays in sending out the notices and, as the batches have been sent out, the DNR is now backlogged with mail registrations which is also causing significant delays.
Those wanting ATV or boat tabs sooner, they are being advised to go DNR offices that can return tabs in person, including the Wright County License Center.
