Wright County Government: DNR Suggest Pruning Oak Trees In Winter Months

Wright County is in a high-risk area in Minnesota for the oak wilt, a deadly disease that impacts all species of oak trees that grow in the state. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources recommends that people prune oak trees during the cold winter months to help reduce the spread of the disease.
