At approximately 5 a.m. this morning, a truck hauling potatoes crashed and the potatoes spilled onto the roadway, almost immediately freezing to the road. MnDOT has brought in equipment to clear the potatoes off the road. No timetable has been given as to when the lanes of eastbound I-94 will reopen. All traffic with the exception of MnDOT and emergency vehicles are being detoured.
