Air temperatures are expected to reach the upper-90s with some areas expected to hit 100 degrees. That combined with oppressive humidity rates in the mid-70s is expected to create a Heat Index “feels like” temperature of as high as 109 degrees. Those who don’t have to be outdoors are encouraged to stay out of the heat if possible later this afternoon. Both temperatures and humidity levels are expected to drop considerably tomorrow.
