On September 30, 2021, Minnesota will be implementing new requirements related to the Family First Prevention Services Act.  When children and youth are placed in settings such as corporate foster homes, group homes, and children residential treatment centers, one of the requirements will be that an independent assessment be completed by an objective Qualified Individual.  The Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking individuals interested in becoming trained and certified to become a Qualified Individual to complete these assessments.  More information and helpful links are available on the Minnesota Department of Human Services website about upcoming informational meetings and training opportunities which can be found here: https://www.dhs.state.mn.us/main/idcplg?IdcService=GET_DYNAMIC_CONVERSION&RevisionSelectionMethod=LatestReleased&dDocName=DHS-329523
