A Message from the Wright County Parks & Recreation Department

Request for Sealed Bids – Basins and Grade Stabilization

Wright County Division of Agriculture and Drainage in partnership with the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting sealed proposals for a large Water and Sediment Control Basin Project, detailed in the bid packet, in the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 2, Township 119N, Range 28W (Cokato) of Wright County, MN. The project includes site preparation, tree removal, tile installation, and the construction of compacted earthfill embankments for the purposes of temporarily detaining water to reduce erosion. We anticipate awarding this contract in early -November, with work to begin in as soon as contracts are executed and to be completed by the end of December 2021, conditions permitting.

Interested contractors should submit sealed proposals on or before 12:00 PM Central Time on October 29, 2021, at which time bid will be opened and read.

Request for Written Quotes – County Ditch #19 Water and Sediment Control Basin Project

A grant for this project has been awarded through the American Rescue Plan – State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. This project has STATE PREVAILING WAGE PROVISIONS.  All proposals must be developed and submitted following the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Provisions. 

Wright County Division of Agriculture and Drainage in partnership with the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting written proposals. Proposals for a large Water and Sediment Control Basin Project, detailed in the bid packet, in the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 15, Township 120N, Range 28W (French Lake) of Wright County, MN. The project includes site preparation, tree removal, tile installation, and the construction of compacted earthfill embankments for the purposes of temporarily detaining water to reduce erosion. We anticipate awarding this contract in early-November, with work to begin as soon as contracts are executed and to be completed December 31, 2021, conditions permitting. Interested contractors should submit written quotes on or before 12:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, October 29, 2021.
