Wright County Government: Robbery Delano Subway

On Sunday, August 15th at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wright County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Subway restaurant at 625 Babcock Boulevard East in the City of Delano for a reported robbery. An employee of the restaurant called 9-1-1 to report an adult male entered the store and approached the counter where they implied, they had a weapon and demanded money from the store. Multiple deputies arrived who spoke with employees and witnesses. Deputies searched the area with assistance from the State Patrol Air Unit but were unable to locate the suspect. No one was injured during the incident and an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the business. The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in their 50’s, approximately 5’10” with a larger build. The suspect was wearing a white medical mask and fled from the area on foot, south of the restaurant.
