Wright County Makes Formal Arrest in Albertville Arson
A man recently held in Sherburne County on various drug charges has been arrested and charged with arson in the Stans Storage fire.

The man the Wright County Sheriff's Department believes is responsible for the March fire at Stan's Storage in Albertville has finally been arrested and charged with first degree arson.
Thomas Rober Valentine, 34, Otsego, was suspected of the crime, and was being held in Sherburne County on various drug charges. He made his first appearance in Wright County District Court on the alleged arson yesterday.Â
Wright County deputies formally arrested Valentine on May 3, and he was formally charged in Wright County District Court. A copy of the criminal complaint, including Wright County's investigation of the case, is attached to this article.Â

An omnibus hearing is set for Tuesday, May 31 in Wright County District Court. Judge Jonathan Jasper will preside of the hearing, which is set for 9 a.m.
The maximum penalty for first degree arson, a felony, is 20 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.Â
