Wright County Offices Remain Operational To Meet Resident Requests For Service

While the Wright County Government Center and other county facilities are closed to the public for services as the result of COVID-19-related precautions and statewide closure/social distancing orders, it doesn’t mean that the county can’t provide most of the services county residents require.

Departments have come up with ways of meeting resident needs while maintaining the guidelines set forth under the current state of emergency. The misconception that most services are not able to be provided is not accurate. Some, like renewing driver’s licenses (which require a photo to be taken on-site), are not able to be processed. But, the vast majority of services remain in operation and able to fulfill resident requests. All departments have employees that are answering the phones and those who are working remotely have their work phones hooked into their email accounts so they can receive missed calls from their office.
