Wright County Parks & Recreation To Host A Birdhouse Building Family Event

Participants are encouraged to bring their own drill or hammer, but there will be some available if you have don't have one.

Wright County Parks & Recreation is hosting a family event Sunday, March 8 at the Robert Ney Memorial Park Reserve in Maple Lake Township called “Woodworking for Wildlife.”

The event, which runs from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., will give participants the opportunity to build their own birdhouses and learn how to properly install and maintain them.

The cost is $7 per birdhouse and all the birdhouse materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own drill or hammer, but there will be some available if you have don’t have one.
