Planning & Zoning won't be taking online appointments for its services.
May 22, 2020
The Wright Planning & Zoning Department will be opening its public counter Wednesday, May 27, but want the public to call before they come to the Government Center because many of the tasks the department does, including building and sewer permits, well tests, land use/zoning questions and concerns, can be accomplished by calling the department’s main phone line (763) 682-7338.

“Many times the questions people have about getting a permit application or zoning questions can be handled over the phone,” Planning & Zoning Director Sean Riley said. “Many times, it’s a matter of saving people a trip to the Government Center. People have concerns about going out in public places with COVID-19 going on and we understand that.”
Riley said the importance of calling ahead of time is to make sure the right P&Z employee will be available for walk-up business and that observing social distancing guidelines will allow for just two people to be at the counter at any given time.
