With additional testing for COVID-19 now available throughout Minnesota, the expectation is that the number of confirmed cases in the state and in Wright County is going to grow. The conventional wisdom is that the number of confirmed cases is lower than the actual number due to the lack of test kits in the past. That is expected to change as more tests are available and more cases are confirmed.

As a result, Wright County Public Health has issued a news release laying out the process of “case and contact investigations.”
The release explains the interview process that takes place and why case and contact investigations are critical to collect data, which is now the responsibility of Wright County Public Health and its public health nurses.
