Wright County Public Health has released its new COVID-19 dashboard and, as expected, the surge in cases, hospitalizations and deaths are on a sharp climb in Wright County.

For the last several months, Wright County Public Health has been releasing its weekly dashboards on Thursday afternoons. But, because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the dashboard for this week was postponed until today. As anticipated, the numbers continue to climb at an alarming rate.
On the dashboard released on Thursday, Oct. 29, the number of confirmed cases in Wright County was at 2,731, with 138 cases requiring hospitalization, 26 requiring intensive care stays and 16 deaths attributed to COVID. On today’s (Monday, Nov. 30) dashboard, there have been 7,946 confirmed cases with 308 requiring hospitalization, 49 requiring intensive care treatment and 43 deaths. In the 31-day span from Oct. 30 to Nov. 30, there have been 5,215 new cases, 170 cases requiring hospitalization, 23 requiring intensive care stays and 27 deaths.

In the last 11 days since the previous Wright County Public Health COVID-19 dashboard, there have been 2,215 new cases, 60 cases requiring hospitalization, seven admitted to intensive care and 13 deaths – all new reporting records.
