Wright County Shared Sheriff Active Incident Ongoing In Monticello

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is currently in an ongoing standoff with a suspect in Monticello near the roundabout at Fenning Ave. NE and School Boulevard. The suspect is in a vehicle, is believed to be in possession of a firearm and has refused to exit the vehicle. Eastview Elementary has been closed for the day and the public is being asked to stay away from the area.
