The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning effective until midnight tonight (Nov. 10) with the forecast of heavy mixed precipitation. The snow projection is between 4-6 inches of new snow with the potential of ice accumulation mixed in.

Drivers are advised to plan on slippery road conditions with the potential for hazardous road conditions during the evening commute. Drivers are urged to have an emergency kit in their vehicles that includes a flashlight, food, water and warm clothing in the event their vehicles go off the road and aren’t immediately aided by first responder vehicles.
