Wright County's Sign Up For Free Alerts Of County News And Programs

Want to have your devices connected to Wright County events or programs of interest to you? You’re only a couple of clicks away with the county’s Notify Me system, which is located on the county’s homepage at www.co.wright.mn.us.

Notify Me is a free service that allows interested individuals to pick and choose from almost 40 alerts to be made aware immediately of news, programs and press releases generated through the county. These alerts can be delivered via email or text message by simply clicking on the corresponding icons next to a specific category to receive notifications.

The Notify Me system allows individuals to select from numerous options of county departments, news stories/press releases, emergency notifications and meeting agendas. They can select only the options that are of
interest to them – as many or few as they desire.

There are five sub-categories within the system – Notify Me, Alert Center, News Flash, Calendar and Agendas and Minutes.

Notify Me includes property tax announcements (which include notifications of statement mailing dates, online statement availability and payment due dates) and tax forfeiture announcements.

Alert Center connects subscribers to administrative alerts (alerts for critical county events such as weather-related closings), election results alerts from the Auditor/Treasurer’s office, as well as emergency alerts from the Highway Department, Public Health and countywide-related matters.

News Flash includes releases/articles specific to several different county departments, including Assessor, Auditor/Treasurer, County Attorney, Court Administration, Extension, Health, Financial & Social Services, Highway, Law Library, Parks & Recreation, Planning & Zoning, Recorder/Registrar, Sheriff’s Office news releases and Wright County news stories that appear on the county’s website.

Calendar sends notifications of events that are coming up during a month and provides subscribers with information on the specifics a program or event and, where applicable, if there is a fee associated with the program or if pre-registration is required to participate.

Agendas and Minutes notifies subscribers as to what topics will on the agenda of the County Board of Commissioners, Planning Commission, Health & Human Services Board and Board of Adjustment. It also allows people to access the minutes of previous meetings.
