21-Year-Old Woman Pulled From Woodbury Pool Has Died

WOODBURY, MN — A 21-year-old woman has died after she was pulled from a community pool in Woodbury Saturday. Police told Patch in an email that the initial call on June 8 was made at 10:16 p.m. for a report of a person pulled from a pool at the 6200 block of Tahoe Road.

Officers found the woman at the scene, who was breathing and didn’t have a pulse. Police began CPR before Woodbury EMS took over care.

The woman was then transported to Regions Hospital once EMS providers were able to regain her pulse.

Police learned Monday that the victim has died. Authorities are awaiting information from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.

Because water-related incidents must be investigated by sheriff’s departments, Woodbury detectives are now working on this case with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
