3 Arrested in Woodbury Robbery, 1 Found in Golf Course Pond

Three suspects were arrested Wednesday after a robbery at a Woodbury furniture store.

According to the Pioneer Press, one of the suspects grabbed less than $100 from the cash drawer at Borofka’s Furniture, then ran around the store trying to find the exit.

After leaving the store, the suspect then jumped a fence before sprinting across four lanes of Interstate 94 and hiding in bushes on the freeway. The apparent getaway car was parked on I-94.

The Woodbury Bulletin reported that police arrested another suspect after he fled into nearby Oak Marsh Golf Course in Oakdale.

The suspect was found in the golf course's pond on the 13th green.

One witness said two suspects ran through his yard.

"He came right up through my front yard. I told them, ‘He went that way,’ and they got him," the witness said.
