7 Students Hospitalized After School Bus Crash in St. Paul

Seven students were sent to the hospital following a crash involving a school bus and pickup truck.

On Friday at about 2:45 p.m., St. Paul police officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Geranium Avenue and Weide Street involving a school bus and a pickup truck.

St. Paul fire medics responded to the scene and transported seven students from Highland Park Middle School to the hospital as a precautionary measure, according to a news release.

Preliminary information indicates that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
