After Slumping Sales, Woodbury Store Will Close
New Uses, which buys and sells gently-used household items, announced its Woodbury location will be closing soon.
WOODBURY, MN — Another Woodbury store is closing its doors after slumping sales. New Uses, which buys and sells gently-used household items, announced its Woodbury location will be closing July 29. The store opened on 8150 Coller Way in 2015.
"It is with great sadness this post is going out," the Woodbury store posted on Facebook. "You deserve to know and be given the opportunity to get the best deals early."
"We're going to miss it. We did our best to make it work," Co-owner Valeta Cornwell told the Woodbury Bulletin while holding back tears. "I still love every bit of it."

Cornwell told the newspaper that she and her partner are thinking about getting a puppy before finding regular work again. "That's about as far as we can think right now."
