AMBER Alert: Girls Found Safe, 1 In Custody

UPDATE, 10:45 a.m. — Police say the abducted children have been found safe. The suspect, Jeffrey Lo, is in custody. "Thank you to all who helped search for them," the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said.

COTTAGE GROVE, MN — An AMBER Alert was issued Friday morning around 8:30 a.m. for two girls in Cottage Grove. Police say on June 7 just after 6:30 a.m., Jeffrey Lo assaulted the mother of his two children and left the scene with the children.

Jeffrey Lo is described as an Asian male, 5’ 5” and 180 pounds with brown eyes. The children are Asian girls, ages 1 and 3. The clothing description is unknown, police said.

"Suspect is armed," the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says. "Do not approach. Call 911."
