Summer Youth Recreation Programs

Summer is right around the corner and the last day of school is only a few weeks away!

Check out all the great activities the City of Woodbury Parks & Recreation has to keep your child safe, active, and engaged this summer. Registration is required for these programs.

Terrific Tuesdays or Thursdays: A morning for 3-6 year olds to engage in physical activities, group games, crafts, puppet wagon shows and more!  Activities are incorporated into a fun weekly theme. Program takes place at Evergreen West from 9:30 a.m.-Noon and is $16 per participant.

Games Galore: A two week long morning of games and sports for 3-5 year olds. This program emphasis physical activity and peer interaction. Program takes place at Colby Lake Park and runs Mondays & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursdays from 9:15-10 a.m. Program is $23 per participant.

Preschool Playgrounds:  A two week long morning of games and crafts that promotes the development of friendships, good sportsmanship and positive peer interaction for 3-6 year olds. Each two week session has a fun theme like Crazy Carnival or Under the Sea.  Program takes place at Colby Lake Park and runs Mondays & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursdays from 10:30-Noon. Program is $31 per participant.

Camp Carver: Our outdoor full day camp offers a variety of fun activities for youth ages 6-12. Camp days may include games, challenges, swimming, fishing, and nature exploration. Camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (all day, $123) or 8:30 a.m.-Noon (morning only, $43).

Youth Playgrounds:  A weeklong of silly fun for youth ages 6-11. Each week has a fun theme that will be incorporated into group games, challenges and crafts. Water balloon and slip n slide fun will be included each week.  Program runs Monday-Thursday; 1-4 p.m. at Colby Lake Park. $31 for the week or $11 for Monday only. 

Outdoor Adventure Programs: We have a variety of specialty camps and clinics for youth this summer. Below is just a glimpse of what we are offering.

Yard Games Camp: July 8-11; 10 a.m.-Noon. $50

Puppet Wagon Camp: Aug. 12-16; 10 a.m.-Noon. $51

Cricket Camp: July 8-11; 9 a.m.-Noon. $100

Cheerleading Camp: July 15-18; 9 a.m.-Noon. $69

Mountain Bike Camp: June 11-13 or August 13-15; 9-11 a.m. $60

Basketball: July 15-18 or Aug. 5-8; 9 a.m.-Noon. $80

Flag Football: June 10-13; 9 a.m.-Noon. $80

Sports Sampler: June 24-27 or July 22-25; 9 a.m.-Noon. $80
