On Wed., Feb. 13, from 11am to 8pm, you're heartily invited to come to The Lake Elmo Inn with your loved ones and show the world just how much you love them — on camera!

The Lake Elmo Inn is excited to host The Smooch! Project, a long-term, large-scale, family-friendly effort to collect 10,000 photographs of people from around the world demonstrating their affection for their loved ones with a smooch on the cheek.
Participation in The Smooch! Project is FREE. All affectionately-inclined people are welcome. No appointment necessary. First come, first served. Past participants are most welcome to join us to have new photographs collected. Sorry, no pets are allowed at this shoot.

In support of the first international journey for The Smooch! Project (to Bangladesh!), the Lake Elmo Inn has designed a special dessert: A "Smooch! Sandwich" made of two moist red velvet heart-shaped cakes, with a center layer of cream cheese frosting, drizzled with dark chocolate and topped with a white chocolate arrow of love.
Guests will be offered this delectable dessert from Feb 13-20, with 50 percent of the proceeds going directly to The Smooch! Project.
Since 2006, Minnesota photographer Bonnie Fournier has held more than 120 Smooch! shoots and photographed 4,500+ people to date. Selected images from these shoots are uploaded to a public archive, where all website visitors may enjoy them. The Smooch! Project archive currently contains nearly 2,000 photographs.
