Aris Clinic Expanded Facility Opens in Woodbury to Increase Pediatric Behavioral Health Services in Twin Cities

State Rep. JoAnn Ward and Woodbury Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens attend the opening event.

Aris Clinic introduced their expanded Pediatric Behavioral Health facility to medical providers, school representatives, and the community during their highly attended open house on October 28th.  Representative JoAnn Ward from district 53A attended the event and was recognized by the founder of Aris Clinic, Dr. Shalene Kennedy, for her continued advocacy for mental health services in Minnesota. Woodbury Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens attended as well and spent time interacting with the clinical team and open house guests. The event highlighted the state-of-the-art design of the new facility, which features large group therapy, educational classrooms, psychiatry, and individual therapy spaces.  In addition to outpatient behavioral health services, Aris Clinic offers an innovative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for grades K - 12.  Patients participate in IOP Monday - Friday for multiple weeks and have a half-day of group therapy and a half-day of school.  The school portion of the program is delivered by Northeast Metro Intermediary School District 916.  The program is designed to help patients transition back to healthy, stable and productive lives in their homes and schools.

Aris Clinic provides comprehensive child and adolescent psychiatry and behavioral health services to Hennepin, Washington, Dakota, Ramsey and Anoka county and offers free needs assessments.  The treatment approach is individualized and integrated to address patient problems, provide clear diagnostic clarification and care following discharge.  The Aris Clinic goal is to be the “last stop” for kids.  The clinic has openings and is located at 7616 Currell Blvd, Suite 100, Woodbury, MN - which is the same building as the clinic’s previous location, but a new, expanded suite.  For more information on programs and admissions, visit aris-clinic.com or call 651-259-9750.
