Bielenberg Name Change In Woodbury Could Bring $1.8 Million
The Bielenberg Sports Center may see a name change, and with it comes $1.8 million for the city of Woodbury.
WOODBURY, MN — The Bielenberg Sports Center may see a name change, and with it comes $1.8 million for the city of Woodbury. Medical provider HealthEast has proposed the city with buying the center's naming rights, thereby removing the name of Orville Bielenberg, who was the first mayor of Woodbury.

If the Woodbury City Council approves the proposal, it will become the HealthEast Sports Center, the Pioneer Press reported:
The council will vote on the proposal at a meeting Wednesday, April 26.
“This would give us a way to support the community and provide us with a presence,” said HealthEast spokeswoman Dina Fassino.
HealthEast would not occupy space inside the building. But it would operate pop-up clinics and teaching sessions, on such topics as brain-concussion testing and health screenings.
HealthEast would pay the city of Woodbury an estimated $127,000 annually for a total of 14 years.
