Globe University/Minnesota School of Business graduate starts home care business and becomes Globe University-Woodbury's new health care management program chair shares professional tips

Amy Nelson graduated from Globe University/Minnesota School of Business with her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and bachelor’s in healthcare management and now works as the Health Care Management Degree Program Chair at Globe University-Woodbury.

After graduation, she began working in the healthcare field where she quickly found an opportunity to start her own home care business called Accurate Home Care (AHC) with the goal to maintain and improve the client’s level of independence, while ensuring their utmost satisfaction. AHC is currently the largest independent home healthcare provider in Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa with more than 700 clients and 2000 employees.

Nelson’s successes as a student and professional led to her speaking at Globe University's winter 2012 graduation. She left the students with these five tips to shine in their career fields:
