Anil Thobani has an inspirational story.
He recently graduated with honors with an Associate in Applied Science Information Technology degree from Globe University-Woodbury. He was chosen to be a graduate speaker and share his story with the audience.
As a senior in high school, Thobani had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He was unmotivated and did not want to go to college. Therefore, on Nov. 13, 2007, he enlisted in the United States Army to be a combat engineer.

After attending basic and advanced individual training, he was stationed to White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and then deployed to Afghanistan where he served one year executing dismounted mobility support for infantry and cavalry scouts.
