The East Ridge Varsity Football cheer squad opened their 2012 season by pumping lots of spirit into the East Ridge fans at the ER vs. Cretin-Derham Hall football game last Thursday evening, August 30th.  The cheer team, led by new head coach Elle Lambert and captained by seniors Megan Musil, Katie Rusin, Sam Lindquist and Hannah Lipps, is comprised of 24 girls with 14 of them being seniors. On the same evening, the ER cheer boosters hosted their annual fall Little Raptors Cheer clinic with over 50 little girls, ages 5-12, learning cheers, chants and a dance.  The future Raptor cheerleaders topped off their evening showing their new skills to the crowd during a halftime performance at the game!
