As a Woodbury Resident and Business Owner, I would like to help explain from experience, what the Woodbury Days Button is all about!
We sell the button at our place of business—Tropical Ballroom, and I've had multiple clients thank me, for explaining why they should buy it- what they get from it, and what it's really all about! Before I opened my business here in Woodbury and was just a resident, it didn't make sense to me either; I had never seen a system like this!
Woodbury Days itself, is the weekend-long event held the end of August (the 24-26th) at Ojibway Park. Woodbury Days "Buttons" go on sale at the beginning of August and offer multiple benefits:

1. Button of Savings: participating businesses offer a coupon for people to be able to use when they show their button. These coupons are good for any one-time use per button, during the month of August. For example, we offer "Any free Group Class in August" when you wear your button. Some businesses offer a percentage off, or a Buy One, Get One deal.
2. Awesome August Event: participating businesses host a one-time event at their location, which all people with a button get free admission to. For example, we offer a 2-hour Salsa & Swing Dance Workshop on Mon. Aug. 27th from 7pm-9pm. People with a button get in free; people without a button need to pay admission.

3. Raffle Entries: Each button comes with one Adult and one Kid's raffle form. Multiple prizes are given away on the last day of Woodbury Days.
4. Savings at Woodbury Days: most food vendors offer $1 off each food item you purchase at their Taste of Woodbury booth. The button usually gives you a discount off carnival rides and petting zoo entry too.
The Event Guide: you will get a booklet with your button purchase that lists every Coupon and Awesome August Event. There will be a punch card attached too- bring that with because you only get to claim each deal once per button. Save your Event Guide, because it lists the whole weekend of activities happening at Woodbury Days, and even the parade route!
