Woodbury Real Estate Update: Oct. 8, 2012
We continue to sell homes at record rates in to the month of October 2012! I am going to keep an eye on the vacant lot inventory and some upcoming city council decisions...

Buyers continue to make a great showing amid frigid temperatures and less than favorable home selling conditions!
Cold weather, schools back in session and low inventory can't hold the real estate market back... heck, even the Vikings are trying to make the market tank and we continue to sell homes at record rates in to the month of October 2012!
I am going to keep an eye on the vacant lot inventory and some upcoming city council decisions regarding future development opportunities south of Bailey road into the new year.

The stats for Woodbury homes sales in the previous week:
• New listings remain steady with 34 homes hitting the market

• Pending properties remain strong with 129 homes under contract
• Overall remains up a little with 290 homes for sale
When adjusted for seasonality and compared to 2011 for the month of September 2012:
• Median Sales Price was the same at $235,000
• Days on Market is down 25% to 109 days on market
• Percent of original list price received went up to 94.5%
• Months supply of inventory is down 57% to 4.1 months
