Brief: Safe Stolen from Champs Sports
The perpetrators drilled a hole in an emergency door's lock, according to a police report.

Thieves made off with a safe from the Woodbury Champs Sports during the early morning hours of June 24.
The unknown suspects drilled the rear emergency exit door to gain entry, took the safe from an office and dragged it outside to the curb, according to a report. The lock contained a broken drill bit; officers dusted for fingerprints but did not find any.

Video surveillance equipment from the office was thrown to the ground but appeared to be working, and employees at the restaurant were trying to recover the footage, the report says.
Nothing else was taken in the burglary.
