Brief: Woodbury Days 'Fight' Was No Fight

Word had spread around Woodbury Days on Saturday: there was a big Friday night fight among a large group of teenagers.

However, a Woodbury officer who responded to the scene said there was no fight and the group had staged the melee simply to draw attention to themselves.

The officer estimated about 100 teens were involved and acted as though a fight was happening. Some of them fled through area neighborhoods afterward.

When pressed about whether a fight actually occurred, officers said no.
