East Metro Symphony Orchestra (EMSO) has rescheduled its upcoming concert, Rhapsody in Red, White, and Blue, to Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 6:30 PM  at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2499 Helen Street North, North St. Paul, MN 55109. The concert was originally scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, March 15, but due to anticipated severe weather the concert date has been changed.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, music celebrating the unique and diverse influences of America will be the focus of the concert. Soloist, collaborative artist, and educator Amos Lucidi will join the orchestra on piano for George Gershwin’s vibrant and genre blending Rhapsody in Blue. EMSO will also perform Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, also known as the New World Symphony, inspired by the composer’s experiences in America in the 1890’s; and José Moncayo’s folk and dance music inspired Huapango.

Admission to this concert is free. Donations in support of the orchestra’s work in the community are always appreciated. Visit EMSO’s website at www.emsorch.org for more details.
