Calling All Musicians: Woodbury Seeks Artists for Upcoming Showcase

Submissions are due by noon on June 10.

Woodbury’s Parks and Recreation Department is making plans for a local music series this fall and winter.

All they need now is musicians.

The city is looking for local groups or solo artists to perform at the amphitheater at 7 p.m. on specific Thursday evenings October through December.

“The department is looking for musicians who play easy listening, family friendly music,” reads an announcement from the city.

Musicians can submit a sample of their work, as well as their contact information, to Blaine Beck by email at bbeck@ci.woodbury.mn.us or by mail to Woodbury Parks and Recreation, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury, MN 55125.

All submissions must be received by noon on June 10. Those chosen to be a part of the series will be contacted and sent an application and contract.
