Car Bursts Into Flames After Crashing Into 3M Gate In Cottage Grove
Two people were injured in the crash and were taken to Regions Hospital.
COTTAGE GROVE, MN — Police say a car started on fire late Thursday after smashing into private property in Cottage Grove. At about 9:15 p.m. Thursday, Cottage Grove police and fire were called to 3M's corporate campus in town for a car crash at the front gate. Police said the car was traveling "at a high rate of speed" on Innovation Road and crashed into 3M property before bursting into flames.
The two people in the car were taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The collision is being investigated by Cottage Grove police.
