Cheap Gas: Get E85 for 85 Cents Off a Gallon in Woodbury

The Woodbury will discount the price of E85 fuel by 85 cents per gallon for one hour (4-5 p.m.) on Friday, Aug. 17. 

It’s part of “Flex Fuel Friday,” a promotion that spotlights a different metro area E85 retailer each week, according to a release from the American Lung Association in Minnesota.

"E85 fuel is made for use in flex fuel vehicles only—check inside your fuel door or visit CleanAirChoice.org to see a complete listing of vehicles that can use E85," the release says. "When used in a flex fuel vehicle E85 produces fewer harmful emissions than gasoline. There is a 30 gallon limit per flex fuel vehicle during the promotion."

Supporters of Flex Fuel Friday include the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, American Lung Association in Minnesota and members of the Minnesota Clean Air Choice Team, according to the release.
