Easing Chronic Pain Seminar: Strategies for Relief

People living with lupus and other autoimmune diseases are invited to this free seminar to learn how to relieve their chronic pain.

Chronic pain is a common and often debilitating symptom of lupus and other autoimmune diseases. During this seminar, hosted by the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota, clinical nurse specialist Mary Beshara will focus on why we feel pain and how it travels through the body. She will also share different strategies participants may use to manage pain, including breath work, aromatherapy, and other relaxation techniques.


Free, but pre-registration is required by Tuesday, February 16.

Mary Beshara is a board-certified clinical nurse specialist in adult health and pain management and has a certification in holistic modalities. She practices at the Penny George Institute of Health and Healing where she partners with patients to develop health care plans to achieve and maintain optimal wellness through integrative approaches.
