East Ridge Senior Coordinates Elementary School Letter Writing Project

The ERHS student ambassadors club also paid for more than 8,700 miniature toys for every elementary student.

May 20, 2021

This past winter, Alexis Posel, an East Ridge High School (ERHS) student ambassador and senior, was inspired to find a way to connect with current elementary students during distance learning. She coordinated with the principals to determine the number of students and classes at each SoWashCo elementary school. Alexis worked with students at East Ridge, Woodbury and Park High Schools to write a letter for every elementary teacher and class. The ERHS student ambassadors club also paid for more than 8,700 miniature toys for every elementary student.
