Rude? Employees Voice Criticism Following Woodbury Pie Five Pizza Closure

Pie Five Pizza Co. no longer has an operating location in Minnesota, and some former local employees are not happy with how the company handled the closures.

Earlier this month, the company suddenly shuttered its Woodbury location, as well as its restaurant in Eden Prairie, the Woodbury Bulletin reported.

Mary Peterson, who worked as the manager of the Woodbury restaurant, told the newspaper she didn't know the closing would take place until she witnessed crews packing up the store. Employees later learned from a short conference call they would be laid off.
